We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Supervisor / Assistant Sales Manager (Chemical & Laboratory Division)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Sales Supervisor / Assistant Sales Manager to support the growth of our Chemical and Laboratory Division.
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid scientific background, proven B2B sales experience, and the ability to develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • The successful candidate will assist in leading the sales team, drive revenue growth, and contribute to achieving departmental sales objectives across Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales of industrial chemicals, laboratory equipment, diagnostic products, and water treatment solutions to corporate and institutional clients.
  • Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities across key industries including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, food & beverage, oil & gas, research institutions, and healthcare.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with procurement officers, laboratory managers, quality assurance personnel, and other key decision-makers.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, product presentations, and follow up on sales opportunities to ensure successful deal closure.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support field sales executives to improve productivity and performance.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports and provide updates to Management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or B.Tech in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related science discipline.
  • 4–6 years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in chemicals, laboratory equipment, medical diagnostics, scientific instruments, or industrial products.
  • Previous experience supervising a sales team or serving as a senior sales executive is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of chemical products, laboratory equipment, and their industrial applications.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to identify opportunities, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience using CRM software is an added advantage.

Salary
N500,000 Monthly.
