We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative

Locations: Enugu and Imo
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: State Sales Coordinator

Position Summary

  • We are recruiting Sales Representatives to drive sales and market penetration of staple goods, electronics, solar products, pharmacy items, FMCG, and general merchandise variants across assigned territories in Enugu and Imo States.
  • This is a field-based role requiring discipline, consistency, and a strong revenue-driven mindset.
  • Candidates must be ready to manage multiple product categories and deliver results in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell Fortitude IoT products across staples, electronics, solar solutions, pharmacy items, FMCG, and general merchandise variants.
  • Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets across all product categories.
  • Open new retail, wholesale, and distribution accounts within assigned territories.
  • Execute approved sales routes and ensure full market coverage.
  • Take accurate orders and coordinate timely delivery with logistics.
  • Collect payments in line with company policy and ensure zero bad debt.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and product activities.
  • Ensure correct product display, merchandising, and brand visibility at outlets.
  • Submit daily sales, collections, and market activity reports using approved tools.
  • Represent Fortitude IoT professionally and comply with all company policies.
  • Provides daily sales, collections, and activity reports for review and validation.
  • Ensures visibility on:
    • Route execution and outlet coverage
    • Sales performance vs. assigned targets
    • Collections status and compliance with company policy
    • Competitor activities and market feedback

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND / NCE.
  • 1 – 3 years relevant exprience
  • Experience in FMCG, electronics, solar, pharmaceutical, or general merchandise sales is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physically fit for daily field work.
  • Basic smartphone literacy for sales reporting.
  • Good knowledge of Enugu State or Imo State markets is a strong advantage.
