Job Title: Sales Representative – High Capacity Generators

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Description

• We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Sales Representative to join our team and drive the sales of high-capacity generators and power generation solutions.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the power generation market, proven B2B sales experience, and the ability to identify and convert opportunities within commercial and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the sales of high-capacity generators and related power solutions to commercial and industrial customers.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and proactive prospecting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, contractors, and corporate clients.
• Understand customers’ power requirements and work with technical teams to recommend suitable generator solutions.
• Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, from lead generation through negotiation and successful deal closure.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and presentations for prospective clients.
• Conduct client visits, product presentations, and sales negotiations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities.
• Collaborate with technical, aftersales, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably selling high-capacity generators, industrial equipment, power solutions, or other technical products.
• Strong knowledge of the generator and power solutions market.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and closing high-value B2B deals.
• Experience selling to commercial, industrial, construction, manufacturing, telecoms, or other large-scale business clients is an added advantage.
• Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute.
• Must be willing to travel for client meetings and business development activities when required.
