HRbreakoutRoom – Our client, Rakeb Packaging specializes in the manufacture of various packaging suitable for various business needs. Our service includes the extrusion, and custom printing of blown film and propylene products such as shopping/carrier bags, bread wrappers, toilet roll/serviette wrappers, shrink-wrap and much more. We also run a recycling line which serves to ensure that we are sustainable in our manufacturing operations limiting the plastic waste generated from our processes.

Job Title: Sales and Relationship Executive

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Responsibilities
As a Sales and Customer Relationship executive with Rakeb Packaging, you will be responsible for:

  • Represent the Rakeb brand as one of the first points of contact with potential customers! That means articulating the value proposition and educating prospects on how our services can meet their packaging needs.
  • Define and implement the Sales strategy to achieve company revenue targets and goals.
  • Generate and convert Leads to drive repeatable and increased sales volume.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Point of contact for all sales inquiries for make to order packaging solutions.
  • Maintain current customer relationships through visits, calls, quarterly reviews and internal/external functions.
  • Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey, dissecting and qualifying their packaging needs.
  • Convert qualified leads from our marketing efforts into opportunities and close new business consistently at or above target levels, collaborating with your marketing counterpart on the outbound targets and campaigns, managing a growing funnel of opportunities in the company data base and using other tools to give you a defined approach.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Manage Customer relation communications to drive > 95% customer retention.
  • Drive repeatable and increased sales volume

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A Degree in Business Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of B2B sales experience – bonus points for previous experience in a packaging or consumer good manufacturing company.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, Ability to network and build relationships,
  • Strong MS Office or G-Suite Applications – including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • You’ve got an aptitude for developing your own business opportunities and seeing them through to final sale, which for us means a strong track record of success and comfortable closing deals.
  • You’re naturally curious and confident, love to ask questions, listen and learn from conversations; then using that to evangelize our products and services.
  • You’re well organized and can handle managing a lot of moving pieces at once, often coordinating internal teams to bring the best that Rakeb can offer to your clients.
  • You’ve got a bias toward action, love to dive in and get stuff done.
  • Proficiency to identify, evaluate and implement opportunities leading to increased revenue, profitability and market share.
  • You are comfortable working with clients at any level in the organization, nurturing them as needed and becoming a trusted partner.
  • Last but not least, you’ve got a competitive attitude with previous experience crushing a sales quota and love closing deals.
