Job Title: Sales Promoter / Merchandiser

Locations: Woji, Oginiba Trans Amadi, Elelenwo, Rumuobiakani – Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Overview

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our team in Oginigba, Trans Amadi, and nearby locations.
• The ideal candidate will ensure that products are well displayed, fully stocked, and attractively presented to maximize sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and maintain attractive product displays in line with company standards.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish shelves, and report shortages, damages, or near-expiry goods.
• Implement promotional activities, set up point-of-sale materials, and support marketing campaigns.
• Build and maintain good relationships with store managers and staff to secure prime shelf space.
• Track competitors’ products, pricing, and promotions, and report findings to management.
• Provide regular feedback on product performance and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with company merchandising guidelines and health/safety standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of OND/NCE qualification; SSCE holders with experience may be considered.
• Must reside within Trans Amadi PH and its environs
• Have good customer service relations.
• Proven experience in merchandising, sales, or retail (FMCG or supermarket experience is an advantage).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently
• Physically fit to handle stocking and product arrangement.
• Attention to detail and keen sense of visual presentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Negotiation and relationship management.
• Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
