Job Title: Sales Officer – South South

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a smart, confident, and results-driven Sales Officer based in the South-South axis of Nigeria to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base in the oil and gas sector.
  • The ideal candidate should be passionate about sales, persuasive, and able to build strong relationships with clients. You must be goal-oriented, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and clients in the oil and gas sector.
  • Promote and sell the company’s products and services to prospective customers.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and client feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Provide regular sales reports and market feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or business development.
  • Experience in engineering, technical services, oil and gas, or B2B sales is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence and ability to persuade clients
  • Target-driven and results-oriented mindset
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Someone who pays attention to detail and follows through on tasks

  • The person will be working remotely, to cover the south-south axis as we do not have a physical office there.
