Job Title: Sales Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • The Sale Manager will be responsible for the operationalization and implementation of the Nenu Engineering Nigeria Limited’s sales and marketing strategy while also contributing to the carbon compliance activities including retrieval, filing and recording of warranty cards. He shall spend about 80% of his / her LOE in the implementation of field sales activities.
  • Reporting to the Managing Director(with dotted line reporting to the Impact Carbon Country Representative), this position’s primary responsibility will be to ensure the achievement of the sales targets while ensuring compliance of the Nenu Engineering distributors / sales agents to the completion and submission of warranty cards.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement Nenu’s sales and marketing strategy
  • Establish new distribution partnerships targeting wholesalers, retailers, financial institutions, corporations, cooperative societies, government institutions and NGOs.
  • Manage distributor relationships, customer accounts and provide support when necessary
  • Collaborate with Nenu team to design, implement and manage marketing campaigns to drive sales.
  • Recruit, train, and manage on-the-ground sales unlocking team in line with NENU’S marketing strategy.
  • Assist in sales forecasting and track the sales and marketing budget
  • Produce monthly reports highlighting trends, marketing effectiveness and growth opportunities
  • Set up and manage an after-sales network of repair stations and warranty activations.
  • Supervise the sales agents and provide them with technical support to ensure they achieve set target.
  • Manage the Nenu Engineering Sales database
  • Create and update the database of potential customers including institutions, cooperative societies, NGOs among others with details of key contact persons.
  • Develop the wholesale agreement to guide the relationship between Nenu and its main distributors.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly and annual reports of sales activities

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Sales Target Achieved: Measured by the percentage of sales target achieved.
  • Warranty Card Collection Targets Achieved: Measured by the percentage of the end-user warranty cards received.
  • Effective supervision of the sales agents and distributors: Measured by the feedback received from the sales agents and distributors.
  • Successful demand creation intervention: Number of innovative demand creation ideas implemented with measurable positive outcome.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. / HND in Marketing, Business Admin or other related field required. AMaster’s degree in Marketing, Business Administrationor other related field will be an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years’ sales and demand creation experience.
  • Private sector experience will be an added advantage.
  • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
  • Peoples’ skills: Experience in supervising a team and collaboration with other departments to achieve organizational goal required.

Salary
N100,000 – N300,000 / month.
