Role Overview

• The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving sales of engineering products and solutions across manufacturing companies by identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering technical sales support.
• The role focuses on promoting mechanical and electrical engineering solutions to manufacturing and FMCC companies within Agbara, Ota, Atan, and other key locations across Lagos and Ogun States, ensuring revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
• This role requires extensive reach across manufacturing sectors in Agbara, Ota, Atan, and other key industrial locations across Lagos and Ogun States, with strong manufacturing knowledge and proven sales capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities within manufacturing and FMCC companies.
• Promote and sell mechanical and electrical engineering products, equipment, and technical solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to drive long-term business growth.
• Leverage extensive reach across manufacturing industries in Agbara, Ota, Atan, and other key locations across Lagos and Ogun States to expand market presence and identify new opportunities.
• Use strong manufacturing knowledge and sales capabilities to understand client operations and recommend solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
• Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales while achieving assigned revenue and profitability targets.
• Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop customized solutions that meet client needs.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities within the manufacturing sector.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery, installation, and after-sales support.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and pipeline reports.
• Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and networking activities to generate new business opportunities.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective relationship management and post-sales support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
• Extensive reach in manufacturing across Agbara, Ota, Atan, and other key locations across Lagos and Ogun States, with a strong network and understanding of local industrial markets.
