Job Title: Sales Development Representative

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a highly driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to work with our growing team. The SDR is responsible for delivering qualified leads/opportunities for the sales team and plays a critical role in growing our business team.
  • Our ideal candidate is a self-motivated team player who is persistent about meeting his/her KPIs, organized and accountable for the team’s success, and has hands-on experience in SDR work. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for actively seeking new business opportunities, engaging and building relationships with potential customers, thus expanding our customer base.
  • To be a successful sales development representative, you should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. You should be very creative in crafting compelling sales and outbound lead generation emails and messaging. You should also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and have strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Developing sales and lead generation strategies to solicit or attract new potential customers through inbound and outbound tactics.
  • Support inbound and outbound lead generation through cold calls, emails, and marketing campaigns.
  • Contact and engage prospects to understand basic needs and assess interest.
  • Qualify leads using standard criteria (BANT) before passing to the sales team.
  • Schedule meetings, calls, or demos for account managers with qualified leads.
  • Follow up with prospects who showed interest but did not convert.
  • Maintain and update lead and pipeline data in CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to support pipeline growth and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Lead generation executive or similar role in a B2B technology business.
  • Minimum of 1 year of sales development operations (preferably with B2B sales)
  • Strong understanding of company positioning and business development strategies for enterprise SaaS companies.
  • Should be a strategic thinker, creative guru who can lead the initiatives and build lead generation strategies for the company.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced target focused environment.
  • Previous experience in handling lead generation processes for enterprise software application vendors
  • Proficiency with CRM and other sales operation tools.
  • Smart, excellence-driven, passionate, enthusiastic, and goal oriented.
  • Good initiative, judgment, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
