We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales & Customer Service Representative

Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective

  • To generate high-quality leads and support conversions for the 5kW and 10kW Solar Home System (SHS) products through proactive outbound engagement and customer relationship management.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote renewable energy products and solutions.
  • Qualify leads based on customer energy needs, usage patterns, and affordability.
  • Schedule follow-up calls and coordinate field sales visits where required.
  • Maintain accurate call logs, lead status updates, and customer records using CRM systems or MS Excel.

Technical Sales Support:

  • Provide basic to intermediate technical guidance on solar systems, PPS, and related renewable energy solutions.
  • Assess customer load requirements and recommend appropriate product configurations.
  • Clearly explain system specifications, performance expectations, installation requirements, and maintenance guidelines in non-technical language.
  • Escalate complex technical inquiries to the engineering team when necessary.

Customer Engagement & Conversion:

  • Clearly communicate product benefits, warranties, and after-sales support offerings.
  • Address customer objections and technical concerns to improve conversion rates.
  • Follow up consistently to drive deal closure and ensure smooth handover to field sales or installation teams.

Reporting & Performance Management:

  • Meet or exceed daily and monthly call, lead generation, and conversion targets.
  • Provide periodic reports on call activities, lead quality, customer feedback, and market insights.
  • Support management with data-driven insights on customer demand trends and frequently asked technical questions.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the energy or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of Nigeria’s power sector (added advantage).
  • Excellent communication, persuasion, and customer engagement skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the power sector in Nigeria, a plus.
  • Female is preferred for gender balance
