TeamAce Limited – Our client, a leading and innovative engineering solutions company in the power and vertical transportation sector, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales / Business Development Manager (Elevator & Escalator)

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: GM – Elevator Division

Role Summary

  • The ideal candidate will drive business growth and market expansion for the Elevator & Escalator Division by identifying new opportunities, building strategic client relationships, and closing high-value installation, modernization, and maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aimed at achieving and exceeding sales targets for the Elevator & Escalator Division.
  • Identify and pursue new market segments, major projects, and key accounts such as high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, hospitals, airports, and residential developments.
  • Conduct in-depth market research on competitor activities, pricing trends, and industry developments within the vertical transportation sector.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while providing timely and accurate forecasts to senior management.
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with developers, consultants, architects, contractors, and government bodies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for major clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and contract closure.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering, or any related field. An MBA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, with at least 5 years specifically in the Elevator & Escalator industry.
  • Strong knowledge of market research techniques, vertical transportation technologies, and sales methodologies.
  • Proven record of meeting or exceeding high-value sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and handle complex sales cycles.
  • An engineering background is an added advantage.
  • Strong project management and proposal writing abilities.

Salary
N1,000,000 – N1,500,000 monthly.
