Job Title: Safety Officer

Location: Sapele, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Safety Officer will ensure compliance with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment on project sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions to raise safety awareness.
• Maintain safety documentation, including incident reports and safety training records.

Qualifications

• Safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is required.
• 3+ years of experience in field safety roles in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
