Job Title: Safety, Health, Environmental & Security Coordinator I

Location: Akwa Ibom

Description

• We are seeking a proactive Safety, Health, Environmental & Security Coordinator I to support turnaround activities by coordinating site security operations, contractor screening, and emergency preparedness.
• The successful candidate will help ensure a safe and secure working environment while supporting compliance with Company security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement site security and emergency preparedness plans and procedures.
• Develop and administer contractor screening criteria and processes.
• Coordinate contractor screening and access pass issuance.
• Develop and maintain the turnaround (T/A) security plan.
• Conduct additional contractor screening and pass issuance during project execution as required.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of site security programmes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Previous experience in security coordination or a related field.
• Knowledge of site security and emergency preparedness practices.
• Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
