Job Title: Robotics / Mechatronics Tutor

Location: Abule Egba, Lagos

Job Summary

• Petforde Technologies, in partnership with 3MTT, is seeking a passionate, innovative, and experienced Robotics & Mechatronics Tutor to train students in practical robotics, electronics, automation, and embedded systems.
• The ideal candidate should be able to simplify technical concepts and engage learners through hands-on projects, experiments, and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Robotics and Mechatronics concepts to kids, teenagers, and young adults.
• Train students on Arduino, sensors, actuators, motors, and embedded systems.
• Guide learners in building robotics and automation projects.
• Prepare lesson plans, practical exercises, and project-based learning activities.
• Introduce students to coding for robotics using platforms such as Arduino IDE, Scratch, Python, or C/C++.
• Teach basic electronics, circuit design, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Organize robotics competitions, exhibitions, and STEM activities.
• Monitor student progress and provide mentorship.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of robotics kits and laboratory equipment.
• Conduct both physical and virtual training sessions when required.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
• Experience in teaching or working on robotics/mechatronics projects.

Strong knowledge of:

• Arduino and Microcontrollers
• Sensors and Actuators
• Circuit Design and Electronics
• Robotics Programming
• Automation Systems
• Ability to teach and engage beginners effectively.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with children and teenagers.
• Knowledge of Raspberry Pi, IoT, or AI for Robotics is an added advantage.
• Experience with 3D printing and prototyping tools is a plus.
• Ability to manage hands-on STEM projects and innovation programs.
• Professional certifications in Robotics or Embedded Systems are an added advantage.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 per month.
