Job Summary

• We are looking for a Risk Management officer who will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of risk policies and procedures in an organization and also analyze various financial data to estimate the degree of risk and level of associated risk involved in extending credit or establishing a business relationship with firms or individuals.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the quality and content of a client or prospect’s financial reports and establishing the appropriate document required to accurately evaluate the financial status of the client or customer.
• Complex analytics to support key strategic initiatives for growth, innovation, or risk mitigation.
• They are also responsible for developing and optimizing analytically driven credit risk strategies for secured/unsecured credit card portfolios and overdraft.
• The risk officer work description also involves performing in-depth data analytics to develop credit risk strategies for underwriting and line assignment decisions.
• Identify potential risk, unusual, unlikely, and emerging risks.
• Assess and analyze risk consequences, environmental degradation, and inability to execute essential missions.
• Develop alternatives making effective and efficient homeland security choices.
• Decide upon and implement risk management strategies.

Requirements

• Must be an Accounting Graduate or a graduate of any other related courses.
• Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2-3 years’ work experience.
• An ICAN qualification is a plus.
• Positive attitude to work.
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.

Salary
N63,000 – N104,000 monthly.
