Job Title: Revenue and Reconciliation Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Revenue Officer to oversee revenue generation, billing, collections, and reconciliation processes within our healthcare facility.
• The ideal candidate will ensure accurate patient billing, timely revenue collection, proper documentation of financial transactions, and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• The role is critical to maintaining financial integrity and supporting the organization’s revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient billing and revenue collection processes in line with established policies and procedures.
• Process invoices, receipts, payments, refunds, and other financial transactions accurately and promptly.
• Reconcile daily revenue collections and prepare periodic revenue reports for management review.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on payments from patients, HMOs, NHIA, corporate organizations, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate capture and verification of patient and payer information before billing.
• Maintain proper records of all revenue-related transactions and supporting documentation.
• Identify, investigate, and report discrepancies, revenue leakages, or irregularities in financial records.
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and finance teams to ensure seamless revenue cycle operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in revenue management, accounting, billing, or finance.
• Experience in a healthcare, hospital, HMO, or medical services environment is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, billing processes, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills.

Salary
N200,000 monthly Net.
