Role Description

• Our client, a hard-discount neighbourhood retail organisation, is looking to hire Site Finders who will be responsible for identifying and securing prime locations for new retail stores.
• This role involves market research, site visits, financial analysis, and negotiation with property owners and developers.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential retail sites.
• Analyse demographic data, traffic patterns, competition, and economic factors.
• Prepare detailed reports on potential sites, including SWOT analysis.

Site Identification and Evaluation:

• Visit potential sites to evaluate suitability for retail operations.
• Assess the site’s visibility, accessibility, and overall potential for foot traffic.
• Work closely with the real estate team to shortlist prime locations.

Financial Analysis:

• Conduct financial analysis to determine the viability of potential sites.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgeting, and forecasting for new site acquisitions.
• Analyse lease agreements and financial terms to ensure profitability.

Negotiation and Acquisition:

• Negotiate lease terms and agreements with property owners and developers.
• Work with legal teams to ensure all contracts are in the best interest of the company.
• Secure the necessary permits and approvals for new sites.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Coordinate with internal departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to align site selection with company strategy.
• Maintain strong relationships with real estate brokers, developers, and local authorities.
• Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management on site acquisition progress.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Urban Planning, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in retail real estate, site selection, or a related field.
• a proven track record of successful site acquisitions and project management.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in financial analysis and budgeting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate software.

Salary
N300,000 per month.
