Description

• We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead, scale, and manage our fast-growing network of independent retail sales agents.
• In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding, and driving the performance of micro-entrepreneurs who buy our Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) products directly and resell them within their local communities.
• If you are a master community builder, an expert in social-commerce platforms (especially WhatsApp community management), and an experienced FMCG manager who thrives on micro-agent enablement, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Agent Recruitment & Network Expansion: Identify, recruit, and onboard high-performing micro sales agents to purchase and resell FMCG products.
• Community Building & Engagement: Build, nurture, and manage active WhatsApp groups and community hubs to maintain agent motivation, share product updates, and maintain high retention.
• Sales Management & Follow-ups: Establish daily/weekly follow-up routines with agents to track product inventory, repeat order cycles, and sales performance.
• Training & Capability Building: Educate sales agents on product value propositions, effective local sales techniques, and customer engagement strategies.
• Performance & Inventory Tracking: Monitor agent purchase volumes, track sales targets, and report performance metrics to leadership regularly.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience managing micro-sales personnel, independent distributors, or direct sellers.
• Industry Expertise: Extensive experience and deep market knowledge within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
• Digital Communication Mastery: Demonstrated proficiency in using WhatsApp and digital communication platforms to manage teams, build active seller communities, and drive group engagement.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain product knowledge clearly and motivate diverse groups of sales agents.
• Track Record: Proven ability to recruit, train, follow up with, and retain micro-entrepreneurs to build a recurring sales ecosystem.
