Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Victoria Island and Ikeja – Lagos

Job Summary

• Restaurant managers oversee day-to-day front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction, profitability, and health compliance.
• Key duties include recruiting and scheduling staff, managing inventory and budgets, maintaining hygiene standards, and resolving customer complaints. They lead teams to provide excellent service and often handle marketing.

Core Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Supervising daily shifts, maintaining food quality, and enforcing health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Staff Leadership: Recruiting, training, scheduling, and appraising staff performance to ensure a motivated team.
• Customer Service: Handling inquiries, complaints, and greeting guests to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Financial & Inventory Control: Managing budgets, ordering supplies, controlling waste, and setting menu prices.
• Marketing and Strategy: Promoting the business, maintaining social media, and developing strategies to increase revenue.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams and interact with customers.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to handle scheduling, inventory, and multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant management software.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts with staff or customers quickly.
• Experience: Previous experience in food service or hospitality management is generally required.

Physical Requirements:

• Extensive standing and walking during shifts.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
