We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Resident Editor

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Rewrite copy from writers
• Modify written content from writers
• Develop a content calendar
• Develop ideas for content
• Oversee content production
• Adhere to journalism best practices
• Assign projects and monitor deadlines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 3 years work experience.
• Excellent command of English especially the rules of syntax, punctuation and grammar
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines often working on multiple pieces at once
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and draw out information from variety of different clients
• Excellent communication skills; written and oral
• Exceptional research and analytical skills
• Patient and strong listening skills
• Ability to craft quality pieces and edit when necessary
• Good observation skills and a keen attention to detail
• Candidate MUST be based in Abuja

Salary
N960,000 – N1,000,000 Annually.
