Job Title: Research Manager, UU

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Purpose
Qual Expert

• Contribute to the growth of our clients by being the key person of contact, from proposal development through final presentation
• Expert in qualitative research but also ready to change the game using digital platform: Ethnography, provide guidance via Video edits reporting
• Constantly looking for new, better solutions to answer business problems. Helping us to boost the perception of Ipsos Nigeria qualitative business.
• Curious and keen about experimenting new approaches to best meet our client needs.

Responsibilities & Deliverables Business Lover:

• Delivering proposals high level outputs, by understanding clients and their business
• Reporting to the Service Lead this role would be responsible for the qualitative business in Nigeria, which include financial targets (UU monthly & yearly AOT) team management
• Under supervision of Qualitative head, develop multi-country reports including final business recommendations/insights
• Final business recommendations/insights to be provided on key clients as will be identified
• Lead presentation of the findings and insights with Qualitative Head support when requested.
• Prepare & check final reports for key clients
• Attend briefing sessions. Based on business objectives and under supervision of Qualitative Head, lead proposal development including most appropriate research design leveraging new innovative techniques.

• Responsible for the overall healthy growth aspect of the team, including planning their career paths, and in motivating and guiding them through their professional career progression
• As a self-driven person, you will be responsible for developing strong relationship with a core set of clients by coordinating projects with excellence from understanding client business needs up to the delivery of final insights.

Qualification

• 6-10 years relevant professional or experience in qualitative research-interest and exposure to innovative qualitative techniques a plus (e.g. online communities. mobile/digital, immersions, ethnography, etc.)
• Solid exposure in FMCG
• Strong expertise in leading multi-country projects.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English is mandatory, any major Nigeria language a plus
