We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Radiologist

Location: Awka, Anambra

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Radiologist to join our medical team at the Awka branch.
  • We are committed to delivering accurate diagnostic imaging services with professionalism, compassion, and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and report on a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI.
  • Perform imaging-guided procedures where required.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Ensure high standards of image quality and patient safety during all procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely radiology reports and patient records.
  • Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to radiographers and imaging staff.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement and clinical audits.

Qualifications

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Fellowship in Radiology (e.g., FWACS, FMCR, or equivalent).
  • Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
  • NYSC certificate (completed).
  • Minimum of 5-10 years post-qualification experience in a reputable hospital or diagnostic center.
  • Subspecialty training is an added advantage.
  • Candidate must reside in Awka

Requirements & Skills:

  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Patient-centered approach with professionalism and empathy.
  • Proficiency in radiology information systems (RIS) and picture archiving systems (PACS).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and ethical practice.
