Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary

• The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration for construction and development projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare cost plans for new projects.
• Evaluate contractors’ quotations and manage procurement processes.
• Monitor project costs throughout construction and prepare valuation reports.
• Assess variations, claims, and provide cost advice to management.
• Ensure projects are completed within budget and time constraints.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare project progress reports and final accounts.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Professional certification (NIQS or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate or construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, QSPlus).
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
