We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Control / Quality Assurance Engineer

Location: Gusau, Zamfara
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Compliance:

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and Method Statements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor adherence to quality control procedures across all site activities.

Batching Plant & Concrete Works Oversight:

• Supervise and monitor batching plant operations to ensure accurate mix proportions and consistency.
• Review and validate concrete mix designs in line with structural requirements.
• Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of batching plant equipment.
• Oversee production, transportation, and placement of concrete on site.

Material Inspection & Testing:

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of construction materials (cement, aggregates, water, admixtures).
• Ensure proper sampling and laboratory testing of concrete (slump tests, cube tests, compressive strength tests).
• Maintain records of all test results and ensure traceability.

Site Inspection & Quality Control:

• Perform daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify non-conformances and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with site engineers, contractors, and consultants on quality-related matters.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, and test documentation.
• Submit daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports to management.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and handover processes.

Coordination & Training:

• Train site personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
• Coordinate with consultants and third-party testing agencies where required.
• Support internal and external quality audits.

Salary
N300,000 – N400,000 / month.
