Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Summary of Responsibilities

• Responsible for all Quality Control inspection related jobs in the Power Systems C.K.D Department

Main Functions

• Carry out quality inspection in the welding section, fabrication line, painting line, assembly and during Pre-Delivery Inspection.
• Responsible for the inspection of all purchased products to ensure conformity with specification and liaise with Sectional Supervisors and QC supervisor for approval of same.
• Responsible for arrangement of all designed drawing files for easy accessibility.
• Responsible for recording design development findings, liaise with Sectional Supervisors and Design Engineer, make necessary corrections, and fill the process sheet when production has been established.
• Carry out jobs with correct equipment and approved methods.
• Responsible for detecting, investigating reporting all non-conformity and ensuring proper documentation of records.
• Shall abide by the safety rules relating to his operations and proper use of the Personal Protection Equipment provided.
• Responsible for taking care of Company’s property under his possession.
• Compiles daily report on the completed job.
• Carry out extensive QA on projectized jobs.
• Carry out other related duties as may be assigned by the QC supervisor.
• Report to QC supervisor.

Requirements

• Graduate of Engineering/Science related discipline with 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes.
