About the Role

• Our client is seeking a Quality Control Assistant to support our technical operations team in maintaining high service and repair standards.
• The ideal candidate will assist in inspecting, testing, and verifying that all vehicles serviced in the workshop meet the required performance, safety, and quality benchmarks before delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in inspecting vehicles after repair or servicing to ensure quality workmanship.
• Verify that mechanical, electrical, and bodywork jobs meet company and manufacturer standards.
• Support the Quality Control Officer in identifying defects, documenting findings, and coordinating necessary corrections.
• Help monitor the use of approved spare parts and materials during repair operations.
• Participate in test drives (where necessary) to confirm service quality.
• Maintain proper QC records and reports for all inspected vehicles.
• Provide feedback to technicians and supervisors to improve repair accuracy and reduce repeat jobs.
• Ensure compliance with workshop health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Support customer satisfaction efforts by addressing quality-related feedback.

Requirements

• Minimum of B.Tech, B.Eng, or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in vehicle repair, inspection, or a similar quality-related role.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for detecting faults.
• Good knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
