Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (Q/C) Officer with strong practical knowledge of engineering and automobile manufacturing processes.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, assemblies, and finished vehicles to ensure they meet required engineering specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, fabricated parts, and finished products.
• Conduct quality inspections at different stages of the automobile manufacturing process.
• Verify dimensions, measurements, fit, alignment, workmanship, and overall product quality.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Use measuring instruments and inspection tools to verify product conformity.
• Identify, document, and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
• Work with Engineers, Technicians, Welders, Mechanics, Electricians, and Production teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct inspections on vehicle body, mechanical, electrical, fabrication, and finishing components.
• Support investigations into the root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure production activities comply with approved engineering and quality specifications.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, checklists, and quality records.
• Monitor rework and corrective actions to ensure identified defects are properly resolved.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and HSE procedures.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Quality Control or Engineering Supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ practical experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance, preferably in automobile manufacturing, engineering, or industrial production.
• Strong practical knowledge of engineering and automobile manufacturing processes is required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Good knowledge of inspection procedures, measurement techniques, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with measuring tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Good understanding of defect identification, non-conformance reporting, and corrective actions.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be safety-conscious, disciplined, and quality-oriented.
