Job Title: QA / QC Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description

• A QA/QC Engineer ensures products and projects meet quality and compliance standards by developing quality control systems, implementing inspection and test plans, and performing daily inspections.
• Key responsibilities include reviewing documentation, identifying and resolving non-conformances, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining quality records.

Core Responsibilities

• Quality assurance and control: Developing and implementing quality control plans, procedures, and standards to ensure products and projects meet requirements.
• Documentation and reporting: Preparing and maintaining quality-related documentation, such as method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and daily/weekly reports.
• Inspection and monitoring: Conducting inspections of materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
• Problem-solving: Investigating the root cause of non-conformances and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues.
• Collaboration and communication: Working with project teams, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns and ensure compliance.
• Compliance: Ensuring that all activities and products comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Audits and reviews: Performing internal audits and reviewing QA/QC organizations and procedures submitted by contractors.
• Continuous improvement: Participating in lessons learned sessions to identify best practices and enhance processes.
