Job Title: QA Engineer

Summary

• We’re looking for a QA Engineer who takes ownership of quality, understands fintech risks, and can work closely with engineers to ship stable products—fast.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own end-to-end testing for assigned products and releases
• Translate product requirements and user stories into clear test cases and test plans
• Execute manual testing across web, mobile, and API layers
• Design, implement, and maintain automated tests where it adds real value
• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Jira, and follow through until resolution
• Perform regression testing for every release to prevent production issues
• Validate transaction flows, edge cases, and failure scenarios common in fintech systems
• Support performance, load, and stress testing, especially for high-volume payment flows
• Manage and maintain test environments, test data, and test configurations
• Work closely with developers, product, and operations teams to improve release quality and user experience
• Raise quality risks early and propose practical improvements to processes and tooling.

What We’re Looking For

• 3 – 6 years experience in QA / software testing, preferably in fintech, banking, payments, or digital platforms
• Strong understanding of QA best practices, SDLC, and release processes
• Hands-on experience with manual testing and test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, Playwright)
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, and transaction-based systems
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum environments
• Working knowledge of bug tracking and test management tools (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
• Basic scripting or programming skills (Java, Python, or similar) is a plus
• High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset
• Clear communication skills and confidence working in a startup environment.

Nice to Have (Fintech Advantage):

• Experience testing payment gateways, wallets, switches, or bank integrations
• Understanding of regulatory, security, or compliance-driven testing
• Experience with UAT coordination or production issue analysis.
