Job Title: QA Engineer

Job Summary

• We are looking for a QA Engineer responsible for ensuring the reliability, correctness, and production readiness of our software products through a combination of manual testing and automated test execution.
• The role involves designing practical test scenarios, identifying defects early, validating fixes, and building automated regression coverage for critical product workflows.
• The QA Engineer will work closely with developers, product managers, and other technical teams to ensure that features meet defined functional and technical requirements before release.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual test cases covering functional, regression, integration, and edge-case scenarios.
• Build and maintain automated end-to-end and regression tests using Selenium.
• Identify critical user journeys and convert stable, repeatable test scenarios into automated tests.
• Validate APIs, backend responses, data processing, and system integrations where applicable.
• Investigate failed test cases and reproduce defects with clear steps, expected behaviour, and actual results.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes, feature changes, and deployments.
• Test web applications across relevant browsers and environments.
• Maintain structured test cases, test data, and automation suites to ensure repeatable QA processes.
• Integrate automated tests into the development and deployment workflow where applicable.
• Work with developers to investigate root causes of defects and verify fixes.
• Identify gaps in existing test coverage and recommend targeted improvements.
• Participate in release validation and provide clear QA findings before production deployment.
• Monitor recurring defects and testing failures to identify areas requiring stronger test coverage.

What Success Looks Like

• Success in this role means identifying bugs week in week out, identifying critical product workflows are consistently validated before release, regressions are detected early, manual testing is complemented by reliable automation, and defects reaching production are reduced through effective test coverage and disciplined QA practices.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA processes.
• Practical experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and browser automation.
• Ability to write maintainable automated test scripts.
• Experience testing web applications and complex user workflows.
• Understanding of API testing and HTTP fundamentals.
• Ability to write clear and reproducible bug reports.
• Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Good understanding of regression, integration, functional, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
• 3 – 5 Years of experience.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or NodeJS for test automation.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience integrating Selenium tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and automated test environments.
• Experience testing data-intensive or backend-driven applications.
