Job Title: Python / Django Backend Developer

About the Role

• We are looking for a skilled Python/Django Backend Developer with strong experience in building and scaling payment systems.
• The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background, strong mathematical and algorithmic thinking, and experience delivering secure and reliable transaction solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (Django/DRF).
• Integrate and manage payment gateways, wallets, and transaction processing systems.
• Apply strong mathematical and algorithmic problem-solving skills to optimize financial transactions and system performance.
• Ensure security, compliance, and scalability of payment-related services.
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on testability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of backend development experience with Python & Django.
• Proven experience with payment processing, fintech APIs, or transaction platforms.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and applied mathematics in backend systems.
• Expertise in REST APIs, authentication (JWT/OAuth2), and database design (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Familiarity with asynchronous tasks (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ).
• Good understanding of PCI DSS, encryption, and security best practices.
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in microservices architecture.
