Job Title: Projects Engineer

Job Summary

• The Projects Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization, design, pricing, and execution of real estate and roads construction projects. This role requires strong technical skills, project management expertise, and effective communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities
Project Conceptualization and Design:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design real estate and roads construction projects.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to determine project feasibility.
• Develop and maintain project design documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Project Pricing and Budgeting:

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates and budgets.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to ensure project viability.
• Identify and mitigate potential cost risks.

Project Execution and Management:

• Oversee project execution, ensuring timely completion, quality, and budget adherence.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve project-related issues.
• Implement project management best practices, including risk management, quality control, and resource allocation.

Quality Control and Assurance:

• Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress and quality.
• Identify and address quality-related issues promptly.

Stakeholder Management and Communication:

• Communicate project progress, risks, and changes to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external parties.
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, presentations, and dashboards.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct HSE risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
• Promote a safety-first culture among project team members and stakeholders.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or engineering (e.g., PE)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in real estate and roads construction

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong technical skills in construction engineering and project management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Proven project management expertise, including risk management, quality control, and resource allocation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or Asana
• Knowledge of HSE regulations, policies, and procedures
