Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Project Officer(Partnerships) to join our team and play a vital role in securing funding, managing projects, and driving programmatic success.
• This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by building strategic partnerships, developing compelling funding proposals, and overseeing project execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Secure funding for foundation initiatives by researching, identifying, and applying for donations from Foundations and Corporations.
• Develop and write well-structured and persuasive funding proposals that align with donor priorities and effectively communicate our programs’ impact.
• Manage project lifecycles, including planning, scope definition, budget development, implementation, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet established quality standards.
• Lead stakeholder engagement activities to gather project requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project alignment.
• Cultivate strong relationships with grantmakers, foundations, and other key stakeholders.
• Track project progress, monitor risks, and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of effective business development strategies.
• Stay informed about trends and developments in the funding landscape and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather data for funding proposals and project reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in project management within the Non-Profit Sector
• Proven track record of securing funding through grants or other fundraising initiatives.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.

Salary
N100,000 – N120,000 / month.
