Ataogo Nigeria Limited, incorporated in 2013, is a leading engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance company specializing in the oil and gas industry.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Manager (Oil & Gas Construction Projects)

Location: Port Harcourt / Offshore, Rivers / Warri, Delta
Employment Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) activities.
• Ensure compliance with clientspecifications and industry standards (e.g., API, ASME).

Team Leadership:

• Manage multidisciplinary teams (engineers, contractors, vendors) and subcontractors.
• Conduct daily briefings and progress reviews with onshore/offshore teams.

Budget & Cost Control:

• Monitor project expenditures against the approved budget
• Approve invoices and mitigate cost overruns.

HSE & Quality Assurance:

• Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies (PTW, risk assessments, Toolbox Talks).
• Ensure QA/QC compliance (e.g., NACE, AWS, ISO 9001) for deliverables.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with clients, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports.

Risk Management:

• Identify project risks (logistics, weather, supply chain) and implement mitigation plans.

Contract Administration:

• Review and manage EPC contracts, change orders, and claims.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical).
• Certifications: PMP/PRINCE2 (preferred), HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA).

Experience:

• 15+ years in oil & gas project management (offshore/onshore).
• Proven track record in managing projects >$10M USD.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3, API 1104, and ISO 14001.

Soft Skills:

• Leadership, negotiation, and crisis management.
