We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Management Officer (PMO)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Project Manager

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and tech-savvy Project Management Officer with experience in managing projects that are IT related.
  • The ideal candidate will work with the Project Manager to oversee field work and follow-up with projects using project tools effective for tracking project development.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the contract review process and assist in thetranslation of the agreed
  • Terms and Conditions into project deliverables.
  • Effectively communicate the delegated project goals and objectives as defined by the Project Manager.
  • Identify risks to projects and maintain a risk register.
  • Support the development of mitigation plans, their implementation and monitoring.
  • Support the Project Manager, Project Accountant and Administrative Manager in the preparation of the project status reports and internal/customer progress reports.
  • Support the Project Manager, Administrative and Finance Managers regarding Purchase order maintenance, particularly regarding variation, order tracking and management ofchange.
  • Comply with the company and/or project specific procedures for reporting progress andissues to satisfy customer and company requirements.
  • Develop and manage project plans and reports. Participate in budget preparation foreach project working with Project Manager, Administrative Manager and Finance Manager.
  • Manage and facilitate flow of essential information among company team members.
  • Maintain project calendar and milestones.
  • Implement and administer quantitative staffing models developed by the managementto describe staffing resource levels for projects, given their specific executionrequirements.

Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc / HND in a Business Admin, Computer Science, Geography or industry related discipline.
  • Maximum of 2 years previous experience post qualification at Project Management.
  • Exposure to IT solution projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Sound knowledge of project management processes and the ability to deployapplications live.
  • Conversant with project management metrics and evaluation.
  • Good knowledge of commercial and financial processes on projects.
  • Membership /Affiliate of Project Management body is an advantage or certifcation.
