Summary

• We need an NYSC corps member with Project Management or engineering qualifications, who needs a Place of Primary Assignment (PPA).
• The Intern will support the Project Management team in planning, executing, and closing projects.
• You will gain hands-on experience in managing telecommunications projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Description

• Assist in the developing project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Assist in task allocation to FSEs and Contractors.
• Assist in preparing and vetting payment requisition for FSEs/Contractor.
• Support in the identification and management of project risks and issues.
• Assist in preparing work order (PFI) request from clients.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders.
• Assist with project closeout activities and reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and resource allocation.
• Help prepare project reports, BOM/BOQ, presentations, and documentation.
• Assist in managing relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings, taking notes and following up on action items.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the Project Management department.

Requirements

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering, architecture or a related field.
• 0 – 1 year work experience.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello) is a plus.
• Interest in the telecommunications industry and willingness to learn.
• Must reside in Ilupeju and its Environs.
• Must be willing to resume immediately.
