Job Summary

• We are recruiting on behalf of our client, for the role of Project Engineer.

Role Summary

• The Project Engineer will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects within the company’s operational portfolio, including oil and gas, maritime, and related engineering assignments.
• This role ensures project deliverables are met on time, within budget, and in compliance with technical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Monitoring project progress and expenditures, ensuring work aligns with budgets and timelines.
• Liaising with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues.
• Writing technical reports, preparing presentations, and providing guidance to management, clients, or stakeholders.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, and adjust as needed to stay within financial constraints.
• Identifying potential risks, developing mitigation strategies, and troubleshooting design or product issues to keep projects on track.
• Supporting negotiation and resolution of technical or contractual issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project engineering or related field.

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills for accurate cost estimation and financial management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with clients and contractors.
• Proficiency in project management software.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and simulation software.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
