Sickle Cell/Thalassemia Health and Awareness Initiative (SCTHAI) DBA Global Sickle Cell Alliance, Inc (GLOSCA) is a grassroot not-for-profit organization with a mission to improve the health-related quality of life through patient centered care across the lifespan for all affected by or at risk for sickle cell disease, trait, and related disorders in Nigeria and beyond.

Job Title: Program Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Summary

• As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our organization’s educational and healthcare programs and initiatives.
• Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders, tracking component of the newborn screening and follow up program, managing fundraising and program budgets, ensuring program effectiveness, and driving the achievement of organizational goals.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for social impact, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing programs in the non-profit sector.

• Team leadership and Capacity building
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualification and Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) in program management, preferably in the non-profit sector (associate degree with at least 3 years’ related experience will be considered).
• Strong understanding of program design, implementation, and evaluation methodologies.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation, including the use of data-driven approaches to inform decision-making.
• Experience with Sickle cell related issues/ programs preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• The candidate must be good at communication, networking, fundraising, Business and Proposal writing, managing budgets and timelines, negotiation, and presentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

Salary
N50,000 – N60,000 monthly.
