Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervision of manufacturing of Pharmaceutical production process and manpower.
• Operations of machines to get desired output and ensure that product quality is excellent.
• Liaise with the Maintenance department for proper maintenance or repairs.
• Managing, directing and organizing the skilled, semi-skilled and lower-skilled workforce working to get the maximum output.
• Planning ability to run the shift successfully with all the resources needed for the period in advance.
• Coordination with the Quality department for the required process checks to be carried out from time to time.
• Set daily / weekly / monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Check production output according to specifications
• Submit reports on performance and progress
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards

Requirements

• High School Diploma; Degree in a Technical, Engineering or relevant field will be an advantage.
• Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role
• Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
• Experience in a continuous process factory or in a manufacturing factory is advantageous.
• Organizational and leadership abilities
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills.
