Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food processing and manufacturing unit.
• The successful candidate will ensure the highest product quality while maximizing profitability.
• The Production Manager will lead a team, setting standards, procedures, and processes for food production while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise food production staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Set and implement production standards, procedures, and guidelines to maintain high-quality food products.
• Oversee the hiring, orientation, and training of both technical and non-technical staff, assigning roles based on skills and workload.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to develop strategies for introducing new or seasonal products.
• Enforce food safety and health/safety protocols throughout the production process.
• Work closely with the Quality Control team to ensure all products meet internal and external standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant food production regulations and legislation.
• Act as the Food Safety Team leader, managing and maintaining strict food safety policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Manager in the food industry.
• Proficiency in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree (BSc or HND) in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, time management, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of food safety compliance and regulations.
