Job Description

• As we continue to expand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Production Manager to join our team in Kano and oversee the efficient operation of our production activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and control all manufacturing processes to ensure production targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Supervise production teams to maintain high performance, discipline, and adherence to company standards.
• Ensure that all production activities comply with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain accurate production records and prepare regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure that products meet required specifications.
• Coordinate with the supply chain, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to ensure skills development and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing/processing environment.
• Proven experience in managing production teams and meeting high-volume output targets.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production planning software.
• Must be based in Kano or willing to relocate.
