We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Production Line Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the production of personal care products and ensuring conformity with health and safety requirements.
  • Support in selecting the appropriate production processes by deciding on machines, materials, and handling systems.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all manufacturing activities within the factory.
  • Identify quality risks and issues within the manufacturing processes and provide solutions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of product quality and take necessary steps to reduce production costs.
  • Assist in inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Assist in ensuring proper maintenance and replacement of machines and equipment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of manufacturing strategies and processes to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure adherence to good manufacturing practices and other manufacturing standards.
  • Supervise the work of junior staff and organise relevant training sessions.
  • Assign personnel to tasks according to production schedules and resource requirements.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. / HND in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry from a reputable institution.
  • Post postgraduate degree is an added advantage
  • Degree in engineering, chemistry, manufacturing, business or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in production process in the FMCG industry (Personal Care).
  • Experience working with NAFDAC will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent working knowledge of safety and environmental practices and regulations.
