Job Title: Production Chemist

Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Identify, plan and implement process improvement projects
• Plan and support the introduction of new products and processes, including new and alternative raw materials
• A resourceful team player, with an innovative and self-confident approach
• You will be self-motivated with strong problem solving skills and excellent attention to technical detail
• Outstanding communication skills applied across a wide range of internal customers and stakeholders
• Excellent statistical and analytical skills you will be IT literate, with experience using all Microsoft Office packages
• Process all necessary documentation for processes completed, actions taken, and analysis results
• Write and/or review SOPs
• Work with Ph.D
• Perform synthesis of standard Sirigen products using standard air-sensitive techniques along established technical SOP’s

Requirements

• First Degree in Industrial Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Biochemistry / Civil Engineering etc
• Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing plant
• Familiarity with operation of routine laboratory instruments and applicable software
• Works well in a team based environment and independently
