Role Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to drive the delivery and continuous improvement of digital products.
• The successful candidate will translate business objectives and customer needs into clear product requirements, prioritise the product backlog, and work closely with technology and business teams to deliver high-value solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Gather and translate business and customer requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog based on business value, customer impact, risk, and technical considerations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Business, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
• Facilitate refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies where required.
• Make informed product decisions using customer feedback, data, market insights, and business objectives.
• Ensure products meet applicable security, regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements.
• Track product performance and define KPIs to measure adoption, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.
• Identify product risks, dependencies, and opportunities and drive timely resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in Product Management/Product Ownership, preferably within banking, fintech, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Proven experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with digital banking, payments, lending, cards, or other financial products is an advantage.
