Job Title: Product Manager – Internal Tools

Location: Lagos

Job Overview

• As a Product Manager in our Internal Tools team, you will be at the forefront of creating and enhancing tools that empower our team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
• You will lead the development and management of internal software applications that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze the needs of the business to develop tooling solutions that enhance workflows and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including CX, Engineering, and UX/UI Design, to design, test, and implement tooling applications.
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to deployment, including gathering requirements, prioritizing features, and overseeing development timelines.
• Incorporate feedback from internal customers and stakeholders to iterate on and improve internal tools continuously.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and customer service best practices to ensure our tooling solutions remain cutting-edge and effective.
• Employ product management techniques to keep the scope, time, and cost of the development in check.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience with SQL.
• A high level of understanding in regards to product management processes and workflows.
• An ability to discuss technical issues and solutions with software engineers.
• Experience working with a product or engineering team within the banking or fintech industries working on a fintech product.
• Ability to properly document user stories, functional and technical requirement documentation.
• Advanced level experience with project and document management tools such as Notion and Jira.
• A high-level understanding of the software development process.
