Job Title: Product Designer (with Figma)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements and user feedback.
• Design user interfaces and user experiences for web and mobile applications using Figma.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Work closely with product managers to understand and translate product requirements into user-friendly designs.
• Collaborate with UX researchers to incorporate user feedback into design iterations.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to other designers.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in design tools, particularly Figma.
• Strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, and user-centered design.
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
• Familiarity with design systems and component-based design.
• Basic knowledge of prototyping tools and techniques.
• Understanding of user research and usability testing methods.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of motion design and animation is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs.
• Willingness to learn new design tools and methodologies.
• Some experience with product design projects, whether through internships, school projects, or personal projects.
• Portfolio demonstrating design process and project work.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies is a plus.

Salary
N50,000 – N100,000 monthly.
