Job Title: Procurement Officer

Job Summary

• Yimei Nigeria Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for our construction and hospitality projects.
• The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective procurement, timely delivery, and compliance with company policies and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services in line with project needs
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier contracts
• Identify reliable vendors, negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
• Maintain an updated supplier database and build strong vendor relationships
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store and site teams to avoid shortages
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
• Conduct market research to stay updated on pricing trends and product availability
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
• Verify quality and specifications of purchased items before acceptance
• Track procurement activities and prepare regular reports
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams for procurement planning.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields
• 2 – 5 years of experience in procurement (preferably in construction or hospitality industry)
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good knowledge of local market suppliers and pricing (Nigeria market knowledge is an advantage)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
