Job Title: Procurement Officer

Job Summary

• The Procurement Officer is responsible for executing the end-to-end procurement process for assigned categories of goods and services (typically indirect/MRO, Capex, or specific raw material lines).
• This role ensures the timely, cost-effective, and compliant acquisition of quality materials and services required for operations, from sourcing and negotiation to purchase order placement and supplier performance monitoring.

Responsibilities

• . Process purchase requisitions, conduct market research, identify potential suppliers, request quotations/ proposals, and prepare Comparative Bid Analysis (CBA) to support sourcing decisions.
• Support the development and management of a prequalified supplier base. Participate in supplier evaluation, selection, and performance reviews.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, pricing, delivery schedules, and service levels with suppliers under the guidance of the HOU to achieve cost savings and value for money.
• Raise, issue, and track purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system. Ensure POs align with approved requisitions, budgets, and contractual terms.

Requirements

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Logistics, or related fields.
• 2- 3 years of experience
• Ability to understand cost analysis, budgeting, and financial impact of procurement decisions.
