Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• Complete Procurement Activity, PR Preparation, getting quotation from vendor, uploading quotation in system to get approval from line manager, Converting PR to PO, GRN coordination to the company store after receiving materials, files upload in system related to store after receiving materials, files upload in system related to P.O payment follow up with Finance.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties assigned by the Company and report directly to the Procurement Manager.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
• Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard new suppliers and open new supplier accounts as required.
• Prepare, track, and follow up on purchase orders for materials, equipment, and services to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
• Review supplier quotations, proposals, invoices, and other procurement-related documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with engineering, production, maintenance, and other departments to understand material and equipment requirements.
• Attend supplier meetings, negotiations, and technical discussions as required.
• Source and procure spare parts from both local and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) markets.
• Manage supplier performance, including quality, delivery, pricing, and service levels.
• Coordinate with internal departments, logistics providers, freight forwarders, and external agencies to ensure the timely availability of materials, equipment, and services.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Possess knowledge of Nigerian import regulations and documentation, including NAFDAC, SONCAP, Form M, PAAR, Customs Clearance, and other import compliance requirements.
• Handle end-to-end import documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, SONCAP Certificates, PAAR processing, Form M, and related shipping documents.
• Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and government agencies to facilitate timely customs clearance.
• Monitor import shipments from supplier dispatch through customs clearance to final delivery at the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with all customs regulations, import procedures, and trade documentation requirements.
• Maintain accurate procurement, customs clearance records for audit and compliance purposes.

Salary
N400,000 – N450,000 per month.
