Job Description

• We are looking for a Procurement Officer who will be responsible for evaluating suppliers, products, and services, ensuring that approved purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
• You will play a pivotal role in securing high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our business.
• You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming stock, and be responsible for approving purchases

Responsibilities

• Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
• Creates and maintains good relationship with vendors / suppliers
• Make professional decisions in a fast paced environment
• Maintains records of purchases, invoices, receipts, pricing and other important data
• Review and analyze all vendors / suppliers, supply and price options.
• Negotiate the best deal for current pricing and supply contracts
• Ensures that the quantities of all items quoted are purchased at once.
• Ensures that the products and supplies are of high quality
• Maintains and updates a list of suppliers, their contacts, locations and so on.
• Work with team members and report to the auditor on price survey and purchases.
• Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain purchase records and other important data
• Negotiate pricing and supply contracts
• Develop plans for purchasing services, and supplies
• Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standards
• Explicit retirement should be done two days after bulk purchase is completed
• Ensures up to date posting of purchases on the system.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous experience working as a procurement officer in hospitality
• A Degree in Purchasing and Logistics, Purchasing and Supply, Business Studies, Supply Chain Management, or Marketing
• A professional membership certification at least a Higher National Diploma
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strategic sourcing skills
• Communication skills.

Salary
N70,000 monthly, (+plus feeding allowance).
